Partner with distribution channels to gather requirements and propose initial product concepts.
Conduct high-level feasibility on product ideas covering system impact, operations, and risks.
Work with Actuarial to design product structures supporting business growth.
Stay updated on A&H market trends and competitor activities.
Policy Documentation & OIC Submission
Ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements.
Review and enhance existing products for competitiveness and faster time-to-market.
Draft and update policy wording, assessing impacts on UW and Claims.
Coordinate cross-functional reviews and finalize documents for OIC.
Manage the full OIC submission process, including responses to OIC queries.
Track product expiry dates and prepare renewals 4–6 months ahead.
Product Implementatio
Lead product implementation from kickoff to launch.
Manage end-to-end workflow: documents, verification, monitoring, and readiness.
Prepare premium breakdown and set up products in AS400 for UAT.
Provide all required documents for implementation.
Ensure all tasks—including IT UAT—are completed before product announcement.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics and Statistics, or related field
At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in Nonlife or life insurance, solid product knowledge especially in Nonlife insurance with more than 3 years’ experience in Underwriting, Product Development or in Insurance business.
Strong communication / presentation skills and the ability to build relationships is a must
Strong knowledge of Nonlife market, OIC regulator.
Proficiency in AS400 system / Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint
