Generali Thailand led a team of executives, employees, and partners to Kho Hong Reservoir in Hat Yai Province to organize the charity run activity “GENERALI RUNTRIBUTE: REBUILD HAT YAI” to help revive the local economy and bring vibrancy back to the community. The proceeds from the activity, totaling over THB 360,000, were generated by converting every 1 kilometer run into a THB 10 donation to support the restoration of schools affected by flooding in the area.
The event was honored by the presence of Ms.Chorfa Yuktanun, Chief Marketing and Customer Officer of Generali Thailand; Mr. Somsak Uttasaereepong, Chief Agency Officer of Generali Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited; together with Mr.Paisid Chiemchanya, Chief Transformation Officer Of Generali Thailand , representing the company in expressing appreciation to all participants of the “GENERALI RUNTRIBUTE: REBUILD HAT YAI” charity run, including executives, agents, employees, and partners. They also jointly presented the proceeds from the event and all registration fees, totaling more than THB 360,000 without deducting any expenses, to six schools in Songkhla Province affected by flooding and currently undergoing restoration, namely Ban Wang Rang School (Prasit Uppatham), Klongdaen Wittaya School, BanPakBang School, Ban Huai Sombun School, Chalae Nimit Wittaya School, and Wat Pa Khwang School (Thammarak Rat Satksa) Mr.Nipon Rattanakhom, President of the Volunteer for Happiness Foundation (Asa Sang Suk Foundation), represented the schools in receiving the donation.
In addition, Generali Thailand also provided group accident insurance coverage with a total insured amount of THB 20,250,000 for all participants in both the 10-kilometer Mini Marathon and the 5-kilometer Fun Run. The event was also honored by Mr. Thaweesak Thaweerat, Mayor of Kho Hong Municipality, together with members of the municipal council, who facilitated and ensured the smooth operation of the event throughout the day. Joining the event to create excitement and inspire participants along the route were health and fitness celebrities and influencers, including “VJ Ja” Natthaweeranuch Thongmee and “Earth Oscar” Nirodha Ruencharoen.
Ms. Chorfa stated that Generali Thailand would like to sincerely thank all partners, artists, customers, and the people of Hat Yai for their support and participation.
