Generali Life Assurance and Kiatnakin Phatra Bank Unveil KKP Lifecare Saving, a Deposit Account Linked to Critical Illness Coverage

Generali Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited, in collaboration with Kiatnakin Phatra Bank Public Company Limited, has launched ‘KKP Lifecare Saving,’ a savings account linked to critical illness insurance. The product is designed for individuals seeking both financial returns and health protection, offering coverage for 40 critical illnesses with a sum insured up to 1,000,000 Baht . It also includes a special interest rate from Kiatnakin Phatra Bank of up to 0.75% per annum (from February 26 to May 31, 2024)

Mr. Kampol Jantavibool, President of Kiatnakin Phatra Bank Public Company Limited, said, “Critical illness rates in Thailand, including cancer, heart disease, and stroke, are steadily rising due to factors such as stress and pollution, especially among the working-age population. To address this, the bank has partnered with Generali Life Assurance to develop ‘KKP Lifecare Saving,’ a product that helps customers manage their finances and ease the financial burden of critical illnesses”.

KKP Lifecare Saving is designed for those seeking both savings and health protection, combining the benefits of a savings account and health coverage. Key features include:

  • Coverage for death from any cause, 24 hours a day, with a sum insured of 50,000 Baht.
  • Coverage for 40 critical illnesses, such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, and chronic kidney disease, with up to 1,000,000 Baht.
  • An interest rate of up to 0.75% per annum (from February 26, 2025, to May 31, 2025).
  • No additional annual premiums are required, with a minimum deposit of 50,000 Baht.
  • Insurance coverage up to 125% of the average deposit balance for the two months prior to diagnosis.
  • Daily interest accumulation, facilitating continuous growth of funds.
