Account Manager – Group Insurance (Direct Channel)

Job Description

  • Key point of contact between company and its Customers, introducing company profile and proposing products & services to our prospects in Direct channel.
  • Answering queries, presenting the advantages or specific characteristic of product or service, offering advice and finding total solutions to Customers and brokers and make them trust in our products and services and finally close the deal
  • Checks and verifies the standard of service to meet the Customer’s requirement. Well-coordinating with Group Operation Team (Policy Servicing Team and Claim Team) and maintaining customer satisfaction according to our Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Checks and verifies a proper premium in accordance with underwriting guideline in order to ensure the profitability of the company. Negotiating contract including, pricing & terms and follow up Group insurance proposal to Customer within the timeline
  • Prepares and forecasts Hot Prospect report and Sales activities report, reviews sales performances, updates marketing situation and reports to Supervisor by weekly and prepares monthly report to be present in monthly group meeting
  • Support and monitor team member to improve their sales performance for group insurance
  • Communicates with GEB Network and providing necessary data in order to retain new and renewal business portfolio
  • Conducts Sales Presentation tools kit to present to our prospects and Customers
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in life or group insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of group insurance products and market dynamics.
  • Good command of English and strong analytical skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Advanced negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Cross-cultural communication skills and sensitivity to diverse business practices.
  • Experience with global employee benefits networks (e.g., GEB, MAXIS, IGP) is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management skills to handle complex, multi-country deals.
