Sales Support – Group Insurance

Responsibilities

  1. Sales & Business Support
    • Support sales team in preparing quotations, proposals, and policy documentation
    • Coordinate with underwriting, product, and operations teams to ensure timely turnaround
    • Assist in onboarding new corporate clients and managing renewal processes
    • Track pipeline status and ensure readiness of required documents
  2. Claims Coordination & Client Servicing (including ASO accounts)
    • Serve as a key contact point for client inquiries related to claims (e.g., coverage, process, eligibility)
    • Coordinate and follow up claim cases with Claims team to ensure timely resolution
    • Update sales/client on claim status and provide clarification where needed
    • Escalate complex issues appropriately and ensure service recovery
    • Support improvement of claims service experience for key accounts
  3. Tender / RFP & Proposal Preparation
    • Prepare and compile tender documents / RFP submissions for group insurance bidding
    • Coordinate across teams to gather required information (pricing, benefits, conditions)
    • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client requirements
    • Support customization of proposal to align with client needs and competitive positioning
  4. Cross-functional Coordination
    • Act as a key coordinator between Sales, Underwriting, Claims, Operations, and Customer Service
    • Liaise with corporate clients, brokers, and partners as required
    • Follow up on case status, pending documents, and issue resolution
  5. Service Quality & Operations
    • Monitor service turnaround time (TAT) and ensure SLA compliance
    • Maintain proper documentation and reporting
    • Support wellness and client engagement activities (e.g., health talks, vaccination, check-ups)
    • Assist in sales support tasks such as lead verification and data validationResponsibilities

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Insurance business, preferably in: Group Insurance / Employee Benefits
  • Sales Support / Operations / Policy Administration
  • Experience working with brokers or corporate clients is an advantage
  • Understanding of Group Insurance products (e.g., health, life, PA)
  • Knowledge of underwriting process and policy lifecycle
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and internal systems
