Ultra High Net Worth Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

  1. Business Growth & Partnership Management
    • Drive insurance business growth through effective management of bank partnerships
    • Support product positioning and go-to-market strategies to maximize bancassurance performance under UHNW segment.
  2. Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with UHNW Financial Consultants.
    • Deliver personalized, high-quality client servicing to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
  3. Financial Advisory & Solutions
    • Provide holistic financial advice with suitable insurance and wealth solution.
    • Assess clients’ financial goals and risk profiles to recommend suitable insurance and wealth solutions
  4. Product Advisory & Sales Enablement
    • Analyze customer insurance needs and recommend tailored product solutions
    • Demonstrate strong understanding of various insurance products (e.g., protection, savings, unit-linked)
    • Work closely with Bank Financial Consultants to deliver integrated and effective product solutions
  5. Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of:
      • Market trends
      • Product Information
      • Competitor offerings and key selling points
    • Leverage insights to position products competitively and enhance sales effectiveness
  6. Stakeholder Coordination & Process Improvement
    • Coordinate with internal teams (product, operations, underwriting, claims) to resolve issues impacting sales efficiency
  7. Training & Capability Development
    • Support training initiatives for bank partners and internal teams
    • Ensure end‑to‑end accuracy of premium collection processes for both new and renewal business, including AML screening, premium posting in the core system (AS400), and preparation of premium receipt reports for accounting.
    • Review and validate premium collection transactions to confirm completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and control each stage of the collection workflow to ensure disciplined execution, adherence to internal control standards, and timely identification and escalation of errors or exceptions.
    • Coordinate closely with the Collection colleague and related team to maintain smooth daily operations, provide technical guidance on issue resolution, and ensure consistent process application across all cases.

  8. Premium Reconciliation and Control Management
    • Reconcile premium collections, bank statements, and related charges to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely closure.
    • Review and validate reconciliation results in a checker capacity, ensuring compliance with internal control standards and audit requirements.
    • Investigate, analyze, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies within defined SLA.
    • Drive continuous improvement by identifying control gaps, streamlining reconciliation workflows, and supporting automation initiatives.
  9. Refund Premium Collection to customers
    • Execute the premium refund process by coordinating with banks and internal stakeholders, including POS and Accounting.
    • Ensure timely and accurate updates of refund transactions in the premium reconciliation records for accounting purposes.
    • Liaise with banks to resolve refund issues or delays promptly, ensuring smooth resolution and a positive customer experience.
  10. Special Projects and Process Improvement
    • Design and implement automation (RPA / system enhancement) to reduce manual work, error rate, and turnaround time.
    • Be able to initiate transformation of premium collection processes across all payment channels (digital, transfer, cheque, bank deduction).
    • Partner with IT, PMO, and vendors to deliver transformation projects.
    • Redesign collection and reconciliation processes with embedded controls and audit readiness.
    • Establish standardized SOPs, control checkpoints, and escalation mechanisms.
    • Ensure alignment with Group policies, OIC requirements, and internal audit expectations.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or CFA preferred).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or relationship management.
  • Proven track record of managing high-net-worth client relationships and growing assets under management.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, credit structures, and wealth planning solutions.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex financial situations.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and resilient under pressure.
  • Able to travel upcountry (if any)
