Generali Thailand Supports Thai MSME FORUM 2026 Reaffirming Its Commitment to Strengthening Resilience for Thai Entrepreneurs

Generali Thailand supported the Thai MSME FORUM 2026, an important platform that brought together representatives from the public sector, financial institutions, private organizations, and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to exchange knowledge, build collaborative networks, and equip Thai entrepreneurs with the capabilities needed to navigate economic changes while achieving sustainable growth under the theme “Turning Policy into Business Opportunities for Thai MSMEs.

During the forum, Ms. Chorfa Yuktanun, Chief Marketing and Customer Officer of Generali Thailand, participated in the panel discussion titled “Support Mechanisms for Thai MSMEs” alongside representatives from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), and the SME Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank). The discussion focused on promoting awareness of Health & Well-being, as well as risk management and business resilience, to help entrepreneurs prepare for future challenges and achieve sustainable long-term growth.

In addition, Generali Thailand’s executive team attended the Dinner Talk session, where they listened to keynote speeches and exchanged perspectives with representatives from the public sector, private sector, and partner organizations involved in the development of Thailand’s MSME ecosystem. On this occasion, the company was presented with the “Thai MSME Economy Driving Organization of the Year 2026” recognition plaque by the President of the Thai SME Confederation in recognition of its continued commitment to supporting and empowering Thai entrepreneurs.

Another highlight of this year’s forum was the presentation by the two winning teams of the UNDP–Generali Insurance Innovation Challenge (IIC) Thailand—TruNord Technologies and Clean Technology and Innovation—which showcased InsurTech solutions designed to strengthen the preparedness and risk resilience of Thai MSMEs.

Generali Thailand’s participation in the event reflects its ongoing collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to strengthen Thai MSMEs through research, the promotion of risk management awareness, the development of social protection frameworks, and insurance innovation. These initiatives aim to better prepare entrepreneurs and their employees for future challenges. Generali Thailand believes that enhancing knowledge, expanding access to protection, and strengthening the capacity to manage and recover from risks are fundamental to the sustainable growth of MSMEs and the long-term development of Thailand’s economy. The event was recently held at the Multi-Purpose Building, Office of the Permanent Secretary for Defence (Si Saman).
