Generali Thailand Expands its Agency Channel to Serve Customers

Generali Life Assurance (Thailand) is accelerating its expansion in the life insurance sector by expanding its agency channel. The company aims to strengthen its agency channel with a focus on recruitment and productivity of the agents. It further aims to build a strong professional agency to expand and serve the customer base, in line with the company’s commitment to fostering future growth.

Mr. Arsh Kaumi, the Country Manager of Generali Thailand and CEO of Generali Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited, has announced the appointment of Mr. Somsak Uttasaereepong as the Chief Agency Officer (CAO) of Generali Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited. In his new role, Mr. Somsak will oversee the management and development of agency channel focusing on building a professional agency channel. He will work closely with Mr. Chavalit Thongrom, Chief Agency Officer of the Special Unit (CAO – Special Unit), a unit dedicated to managing and developing specialized agents. 

Mr. Arsh Kaumi said, “Generali Thailand aims at providing need-based and innovative solutions to its customers, and the expansion of agency channel is a step in this direction. We believe that the collaboration of Mr. Somsak Uttasaereepong and Mr. Chavalit Thongrom, two exceptionally talented and experienced leaders will play a pivotal role in strengthening our agency channel aligned with our strategic objective. Mr. Somsak Uttasaereepong brings to the role over 26 years of valuable experience and expertise in building professional agency in Thailand Life insurance market. His extensive track record includes successfully managing large sales agency teams and pioneering initiatives such as creating full-time agents and financial advisors. While, Mr. Chavalit Thongrom has built a strong foundation for agency development. In his new role, he will be supporting the growth and development of special agency unit.”
