Generali Life Assurance Sets Its Flag for 2026 under “Year of GROWTH” Driving a Strategy to Develop Quality Agents

Generali Life Assurance (Thailand) opened the new year by hosting its major annual event, AGENCY KICK OFF & YEAR PLAN 2026, gathering executives and agency leaders from across the country to unveil the business direction under the concept “Year of GROWTH – a year of growth driven by quality.” The company is committed to strengthening agent capabilities through systematic standards, building a solid and sustainable foundation for the agency channel, while driving agents toward MDRT qualification through the four-year MDRT 2-million-baht program, reinforcing Generali’s ambition to be a trusted lifetime partner for customers.

The event was honored by the participation of the Generali Thailand executive team, led by Mr.Arsh Kaumi, Country Manager & CEO of Generali Thailand, who outlined the strategic framework for driving the organization and the agency channel toward excellence. He reaffirmed the strong commitment to continuously supporting the agency channel from all parts of the organization, while inspiring agents to move forward toward their goals with determination and perseverance.

Mr.Somsak Uttasaereepong, Chief Agency Officer of Generali Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited, shared strategies for driving the growth of the agency channel in 2026, focusing on enhancing the capabilities of agency leaders and their teams, alongside strengthening work standards and a structured career path. The company will also continue to drive agents toward MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) qualification through the four-year MDRT program offering 2 million baht, to support quality and sustainable growth.

In addition, Mr.Jared Chew Regional Head of Agency Development, representing regional management from Asia, together with the Generali Thailand executive team, shared perspectives and approaches for building strong, quality-driven growth of agency teams.

The event also included the presentation of certificates to agency leaders who successfully completed the Sales Management Development Program 2.0, a joint program developed by Generali Group and an international human-capital development institute in collaboration with Generali Thailand to develop agency leaders. The program aims to enhance team-management skills through Blended Learning and Action Learning, covering team leadership roles and responsibilities, agent recruitment and selection, coaching and mentoring, team supervision and management, as well as motivation and situational leadership. A total of 72 agency leaders completed the program in 2025. In addition, awards were presented to agents with outstanding quarterly performance from the past year, and congratulations were extended to those newly appointed as agency leaders, reinforcing achievement, career advancement, and inspiration within the agency channel. The event was recently held at Methavalai Hotel, Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province.
