- The insured must be of 6 months – 80 years old for the single trip or
- The traveler with tourism, business, training, seminar or short study purpose and
- The traveler must reside in Thailand
Currently, there is only for single trip which covers up to 180 days per tip.
You can buy at least 1 day or up to 180 days prior to the travel date .
The coverage includes medical expense for the in-patient and out-patient except for the pre-existing conditions and illnesses specified under the policy exclusions

In case you’re planning to visit Europe and you’re Thai, you would need a Schengen Visa for the following countries; Germany, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
Travel insurance is required for a Schengen Visa. Whether it is for tourism or business purpose, the traveler must attach the travel insurance covering the traveling period. However, not all European countries are under Schengen agreement like United Kingdom, Ireland, for example.
